HAMSADHWANI’S 36th FESTIVAL OF MUSIC, DANCE & DRAMA

For Seniors from 3.30 pm onwards.
Seniors(age group 17-22 years) competition should enroll with a list of 7 krithis including the Trinity, Papanasam Sivan,Narayana theerthar and other composers and do raga alapana, neraval,swaraprastharam for a krithi.
Special prize for Narayana Theerthar and Papanasam Sivan songs.
In the Seniors category a Special Prize will be awarded for excellent rendition of Muthuswamy Dikshithar Krithi.
Participants should be able to render two krithis in each category and give a list of 4 krithis.
The competition will be held at Youth Hostel premises, Second Avenue,Indira Nagar,Adyar, Chennai 20.
Enrolment through email hamsadhwani90@gmail.com / with subject HAMSADHWANI MUSIC COMPETITION – 2025 or in person at Venue on the day of competition half an hour before the commencement of the competition.

Saturday 9 th August for Sub Juniors from 3.30 pm onwards

Sub Juniors (age group 7-12 years) should enroll with a list of 3 krithis of 3 different composers.

ON Saturday 9 th August for Juniors from 4.30 pm onwards

Juniors(age group 12-17 years) should be able to render 5 krithis covering Trinity,Papanasam Sivan and Narayana Theerthar.
